The Addison Brief

Overview

The Addison Brief began as a one-off request to support a client-facing interaction but evolved into a standardized, reusable sales enablement asset now used across the entire Addison Group field.

By rethinking both the format and distribution, I transformed a basic document into a scalable content system that improves consistency, usability, and visibility into engagement.

The Challenge

  • The original concept was a simple combination of multiple one-pagers (About, Roles, Locations, Awards)

  • Content lacked cohesion and felt piecemeal rather than intentional

  • Designed for a single use case, not long-term or repeat use

  • Delivered as a traditional PDF, limiting usability and engagement

  • No visibility into how or when the asset was being used

Additionally, the asset needed to stand out in a competitive scenario where it would be reviewed alongside other staffing firms, making differentiation critical.

The Approach

Rather than simply combining existing materials, I approached this as an opportunity to create a clear, compelling, and reusable narrative.

Key focus areas:

  • Unify content into a single, cohesive story about Addison Group

  • Design a format that would stand out visually and encourage engagement

  • Optimize for real-world use across multiple touchpoints

  • Build in tracking and scalability for broader team adoption

Skills used:

Content Systems Design • Sales Enablement Strategy • Scalable Asset Development • User-Centered Thinking • Cross-Team Adoption

The Solution

1. Reframed as a Branded Booklet

  • Transformed disconnected one-pagers into a structured, easy-to-read booklet

  • Designed a compelling cover and narrative flow to encourage continued reading

  • Elevated the presentation to stand out against competing materials

2. Designed for Engagement & Distribution

  • Converted the asset into a FlippingBook format for a more interactive experience

  • Replaced large attachments with a clean, shareable link

  • Improved usability across email, presentations, and follow-ups

3. Personalized & Trackable Experience

  • Implemented QR code tracking to monitor engagement

  • Integrated personalized email touchpoints, tying the asset back to the originating contact

  • Created visibility into how and where the asset was being accessed

4. Scaled for Organization-Wide Use

  • Transitioned from a single-use deliverable to a shared resource

  • Standardized content to be applicable across all Addison verticals

  • Published within SERC (internal resource hub) for easy access by the field

The Impact

  • Established a consistent, polished narrative for Addison Group across teams

  • Enabled broader adoption as a go-to leave-behind and follow-up asset

  • Reduced the need for one-off custom requests

  • Improved accessibility through centralized distribution via SERC

  • Introduced basic performance tracking through QR code insights

My Role

  • Led creative direction, content structuring, and design execution

  • Reframed the asset from a tactical request into a scalable solution

  • Introduced new distribution methods and tracking capabilities

  • Partnered with field teams to ensure the asset aligned with real-world use cases
