GLP – Localizing a Global Brand for the U.S. Market
Challenge
GLP is a global logistics leader, but in the U.S. market, it was nearly invisible. While globally recognized, its brand had little awareness or resonance with American clients. The challenge was to reposition GLP with a voice and message tailored to U.S. audiences, while staying true to the parent brand.
Role & Strategy
As Senior Associate of Marketing and Communications, I led the brand localization effort. My goal was to translate GLP’s global identity into something meaningful for U.S. brokers, clients, and stakeholders without reinventing the wheel.
This meant uncovering perceptions, analyzing competitors, and crafting a U.S.-specific content and brand strategy built on clarity, credibility, and consistency.
